Nutrition & Women’s Health

We need to stop talking about menstruation, pregnancy, and (peri)menopause as if they are diseases or problems—they’re not! They are completely normal and vital events in a woman’s life.
The reason so many of us have such challenging menstruations or menopause journeys is because of other underlying health issues. These can include chronic inflammation, stress, and nutrient deficiencies—all common side effects of our modern lifestyle.

Eating too many inflammatory foods, for example, can increase cramping and cause massive pain. It can also worsen PMS, endometriosis, and make perimenopause more challenging.

But luckily, if the wrong diet can cause—or exacerbate—your symptoms, the right diet can help take them away.

Anything related to women’s health! Some common concerns include:

  • Period pain or heavy flow
  • Amenorrhea (the absence of periods)
  • Endometriosis
  • Recurring UTIs
  • PCOS
  • PMS and PMDD
  • Menstrual migraines
  • Sleep and digestive problems
  • Low energy
  • (Peri)menopausal issues

And even if you have no symptoms but just want to eat healthier—please reach out! Prevention is the best medicine.
